The Very Reverend M.Elizabeth Morgan is a native of Greenville, South Carolina and brings a wealth of theological and pastoral experience to St. Luke's Episcopal Church.

 

Reverend Morgan is a cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in anthropology and sociology. She earned her Master of Divinity from the School of Theology at Sewanee, Tennessee. While at Sewanee, Reverend Morgan received the Wood Leadership award for "outstanding scholastic  achievement and leadership skills."    

 

Reverend Morgan comes to St. Luke's after having served as rector of Christ's Church in Blacksburg,Virginia.  She previously served parishes in Bluefield, WV, Aiken, SC,Winnsboro, SC and Spartanburg, SC.   She has also served as Executive Director of Project Care in Greenville, SC and as clinical chaplain for the South Carolina Department of Health.

 

Reverend Morgan's husband, Harold, is also a priest and serves as rector of All Saints' Episcopal Church in Clinton, SC.
